i hate that they don’t allow smoke bombs because i think smoke bombs are awesome. and same with streamers. they aren’t dangerous like flashlights, or maybe bobbleheads

As a leading member of one of the SGs for DCU I feel this is a slippery slope that MLS put itself on. You punish one, you gotta punish them all. I wonder how this will impact other SGs this season. Is there gonna be a crackdown?

I think it’s a bit of a harsh decision, unless Houston’s SGs were actively refusing to release the identities of the perpetrators to the league, or unless the SGs didn’t take any action against the perpetrators themselves.
a real irony here is that the MLS has used footage from a smoke bomb to promote the league, with the obvious reasoning that it looked cool.
